Well I guess it is time for me to leave live journal to post on another blog site. Paul is in the process of moving my blog to blogger.

Happy halloween

Well I have not posted in a while. Things are going well. Nothing new really. Mom came over today for a Egg Nog Latte break with my new machine. Yummy.

Siamese Kittens

2 Weekends ago we came home with 2 kittens. They have been keeping us busy and have been keeping us up at night. We hope to have our little fur balls for a while. Kona and Comox welcome to the Cooley household.

The neighbor is mowing his lawn. Think he will come do our lawn?
This is birthday month in my family. My birthday, my dad, my brother-in-law and my father-in-law all have a September birthday.   Not even mentioning all the other people I know that have a birthday this month. Robin, Jennifer, Patty, Andy from work and his son. Happy Birthday everyone!

(no subject)

Frustration. Impatience. Irritation. Just a few words about how I feel about my job today. Glad it is Friday.   End of quarter is brining me down.

Yes I know it is autumn now but I have been planting flower bulbs. For some reason I thought that a Costco pack of bulbs would be a great idea. I am starting to rethink my purchase. Yesterday I spent a good part of the afternoon planting 50 bulbs. Oh my. I better enjoy spring. Right now all I am enjoying is the round bruise on the palm of my hand from digging 50 holes in the rock infested dirt us Seattleites have.

The libary has free books!!

I once remember when I got my layoff papers how great I thought the library was. Free entertainment. I had forgotten that that entertainment was still there even though I drive by the library most days when I leave the house.  So I have been a bit disappointed from moving from my shiny new fancy library in Redmond with parking for 40+ cars, to a double wide portable library in Kenmore with parking for 10 cars. But the KingCounty library system on line has this great idea.  It not only gives me access not only to the books in Kenmore but all the books in the whole system. Shhh don’t tell anyone that they can have books delivered to their local library. As I have become addicted to putting books on hold and I am disappointed when I am not first in line for a book. The only question is what book do I want next. Guess I will go browse Amazon’s top seller list next.

Working from home

I am getting so much done at work today. Readiness plan done! customer calls done! expense report next, and one more customer call. All from the couch in my PJs.
